Way to go...

Sad day for moderation on these forums! I think it was a fair and needed petition despite being originated by tree with people signing from both fanboy and hater camps evenly :)

What a shame.... i wonder if the ones that deleted that post with all that signs (all trolls??) have been at least payed for that.
At least is not a free shame.

The behaviour just gets shabbier every day. If they'd put as much effort into fixing the game WE PAID GOOD MONEY FOR...

a total shame! still nothing about release, nothing about patch, only deleted posts

You cannot expect a patch on a release day. A "release week" on a software project it's a mess of hard work, bad sleep and a day no one wants to live. We need to be patient, wait for friday and keep hopes.
I know how all of you feel about CoD, but we can't do more. It's sad to wait for the problems to resolve when you have no control or idea how it's the situation, but I repeat, we can't do more.

Bring the agression level down, please.

I heard that future Maddox releases will come with an NDA.

I answer you in English. Luthier showed us the 3d modellers working on the next title on the series, so I don't think that changed in 15 days. I repeat, the lack of communication is bad, I know, but we need to have patience.

I already said people here need to chill.

HOWEVER, i think Luthier would have something to say if he knew that the moderators of his forum were censoring threads and posts for his attention/critical to his business.

Someone should keep a record of the events, and then PM Luthier about it all.

HOWEVER, i think Luthier would have something to say if he knew that the moderators of his forum were censoring threads and posts for his attention/critical to his business.

"Critical to his business" is the fact that with reduced textures to HIGH and Land Detail to "MEDIUM", I can put all other settings at maximum and fly this sim even over London, low level, fast, dogfighting and doing stunts, without stutters and great visuals and stable FPS in a today cheap quad core, old DDR2 4GB of RAM, simple 7200 RPM SATA HD, and a 200 euros vga, middle end, GTX 560 Ti 1GB VRAM.

"Critical to his business" is bug reporting. As far I know, these topics aren't deleted or something. Just the stupid whinners posts are.

"Critical to his business" isn't "comunication" in this forum. "Critical to his business" is the fact that the team are working in solving all bugs and "placeholders" in CloD and in the next title material: another bunch of AMAZING DETAILED aircraft, ground units, buildings, etc.

Now I'm really tired of all this old crap. I was about to post ANOTHER video of this AMAZING sim engine running great in my rig, but all the whinners deserves just NOTHING.

I'll fly and wait for the next patch! Bye!

I have no idea why the petition thread was removed, it didn't break any rules, there were no slanging matches and it was one of the few threads that stayed on topic. At least 99% of the forum agreed that the Dev's need to talk to us and soon, so a good result.

yes Tree im with you.
would have been interesting to see how many people would have agreed in a few days, considering that about 70 people agreed in 2 hours.
its a real shame the thread got removed.

That was one thread the devs really needed to see,and take notice of.A mod deleting it was a seriously bad move.
There were whiners AND fanboiis posting in that thread that an update is needed.
A fail of epic proportions, and one thst does not bode well.

it makes you wonder where the order came from? And this is a game forum not China, why the silent removing of non rule breaking threads?

Somebody with a axe to grinde again.

I can guess where its coming from but i would be "disapeared"

I think it was because the thread only said what everybody was saying anyway all the time, nothing new, superfluous.
There was no dispute, nothing to discuss.

So if we agree with the title of this thread, we are only allowed to say that 1C are giving us great communication/detail/information/after-sales information/listing their roadmap since the release/looking after their customers by informing them that the multitude of bugs reported are being looked at/that sound-bug which has stayed unfixed since release has been released in the US in a non-working condition and been released 'not fit for purpose'/that the bugs that were released with the latest patch and are in the first US release have not been dealt with and mean the developer's know their product is faulty and yet they still released it, so once more in an unfit for purpose condition and yet thanks to this topic.....HEY EVERYTHING IS FINE AND DANDY AND THEY ARE COMMUNICATING WELL.

I can't use a profanity as it'll be a ban but choose your own here : PROFANITY!!!!

Sadly this has been like watching a car-wreck unfold in slow motion and thankfully with the great communication from the dev's we know everything is fine, it's great they have kept in touch and that I don't need to criticise them!

I personally think it's shameful to have deleted a thread asking for communication as it didn't breach a single rule and yet at the whim of one person....snip...gone!

This forum used to be about people/developer's talking and listening to each other, all it allows now is a group of frustrated gamer's to ask for a little courtesy of the people they have paid money to so that they explain what has gone so epically wrong (I mean Pseudo Full Screen for example..just give us a Full-Screen option???) with even the basics of this release?

So, as we are not allowed, according to this thread, to complain about the lack of feedback....cheers 1C, I look forward to the future and I am glad my worries about the bug-fest initial release have been completely unfounded and you have calmed my nerves with all your input!

A very disgruntled MP!

(However give me a P-51 with shiny metal and all is forgiven ;) (watches clock tick by to 2017)

Thats what a petition is! Seventy people in two hours signed that,it was up to eight pages. Its more than likely hundreds of people would have 'signed' it by now.It was probably one of the more important threads seen here for quite some time, and having a mod just delete it for no reason was a bad move that can only hurt the developers, especially if they don't know the depth of feeling on the lack of communication here.
As said,it broke no rules,it was not full of whiners, people who would normally be described as fanbois were signing it as well.

in before the lock?

I think the mods deleted it before the snowball made in your hands and rolled down the hill became something else .

regardless though, I wonder if they'll do the same if tree tries again?

I think the heart of the issue is too many things and not enough time.

the devs are working to get the game up.

many passionate people hoping the sim's greatness would be realized posting trying to pave the way with "good intentions"

the mods have too many posts to monitor and not enough time

so we get ill communication from devs, angry posters, seinfeld soup nazi style mods
