View Full Version : Feature request: Auto track record.
So there I was, just messing around when I had the most awesome flight ever, flying the bomber intercept quick mission I managed with a second long burst to sever the wing from a 111, then upon my next attack run as I overflew my second target one of my wingmen opened up on him too, scoring lots of hits it just looked awesome.
Sadly I had again forgotten to start recording so I couldn't go back and watch it again :(
Any chance we could see the addition of the old style 'save track' after flying? Or have a switch in the options to automatically record a track file named with a timestamp or something?
Thanks :)

I remember that later versions of il-2 got corrupted replays this way, i really missed that feature.

How are we supposed to know when a mission will be worth recording? The 'save track' function is essential in my view.
I also had big problems with Ultrapack's corrupted replays unfortunately, so I still use an old AAA install for IL2 FMB film making. Cliffs is almost impossible, as the track editor delivers more badly corrupted replays than UP2. :(

in il2 1946 it was a great feature, but for me it worked maybe 1 of ten times to hit the save track button.

Yes, agreed! I try to remember to save a track every time I start a mission, just in case, but you know the one time I forget is the one time something really cool happens.

Yes, yes and yes. The more they make the functionality of Clod like IL2, the better. And this is at the top of my list. Luthe...I hope you're listening!

Also if they could fix the Skin problem and view problem, that would be great.
