I have posted this over at SimHQ too.

I am making a VAC profile (Voice Activated Command). I know the Comms menu isn't working yet. Just getting a profile ready.

I am however, having trouble understanding what the following commands are trying to convey:

Who: (TAB-1-1) Who Group

Who Group?

Action: (TAB-2-1-1-5) My Target Type (by Viewport)
(TAB-2-1-1-6) My Target (by Viewport)

Is the Viewport who you have in your Gunsight?

Cover: (TAB-2-1-2-5) Cover My Target Type (by viewport)
(TAB_2-1-2-6) Cover My Target (by Viewport)

What do they mean by cover? If you are a friendly do you defend target type)?
If you are an enemy do you stalk (target type)?

Ground: (TAB-2-2-9) My Target by Viewport

Is the viewport the Gunsight?

Crew: (TAB-3-1) Vector to Home Base
(TAB-3-2) Vector to Target
(TAB-3-3) Vector for Assistance
(TAB-3-4) Distance to Fire:0 (You key in, or via VAC speak the digits)

I don't understand these Crew Commands. I presume (as an example) if you are the pilot, you issue these commands to your aircrew?

If you issue the Vector to Home Base Command, are you talking to your Navigator?

If you issue the Vector to Target, are you talking to Ground Radar or a member of the crew?

Vector for Assistance, are you talking to Ground Radar or a member of the crew?

Distance to Fire:0 - Are you issuing this to your gunner? Why are you giving this command?

Status: (TAB-5-2) Ready for Full Stop

Totally lost with this one. No, honestly I just don't have a clue what this is supposed to mean!

Any IL2 Stalwarts who are used to these commands give me a clue please? TIA.

As far as I've seen comms don't work at all, I would love someone to prove me wrong. Probably not worth bothering until it's sorted out as the layout could change once the work on this aspect is done.
