I have the collectors CD edition that requires Steam, am soon going to be building a second Sandy Bridge PC just for flight sims but I'll still use this I7 920 a lot ... is it possible to have IL2 CoD installed on both computers? I'd only be using one install at a time ... I know you can do this with RoF.
I think I saw mention of this on here before but never paid too much interest and cant find anything in search.
Cheers.

Yes you can install Steam on both pc's and use the same login, but it won't run on Both at the same time in online mode. Can probably patch CLOD and launch steam in offline mode on the older pc and that way run it on both without constantly loigging in and out, then just log in ocasionally on it when there is a new patch out.
Edit : just tested and CLOD launches with steam in offline mode. You can't connect to MP servers then, but all the quickmissions and campaign work just fine

Thanks, I'll only be using one instance of the sim at a time.
