but can you show or tell us the average GPU utilization please
I would be deeply gratful about that

Did you try Radeon Pro ? , it let you tweak Crossfire
Until the release of the CAP that support IL2COD you can made a custom one.

These are the averages for the run. GPUZ did not capture all GPUs, but judging by temp about 50%?
Is there a better way to capture this? RadeonPro also indicates ~50%...

this raise my hope that the next Nvidia Driver has a better performance than now.
At the moment SLI utilizes only GPU 1

LOL - overclocked power draw for dual HD6990s is roughly 900W. :)
I'm using SILVERSTONE ST1500 1500W:

BTW, the max draw for a single US fuse circuit is 1200W, but I have not blown any fuses ... yet. :)

Hi mate,
to do this my idea would be buy 6GB more RAM
I think you have 3 Slots free then run a RAMDISK and move your Steam+
Game on it.This would give you a few more frames or little bit higher settings.
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=20228&highlight=ramdisk
I've running a 5GB Ramdisk with entire Steam on it and it gave me about 10FPS more over London, it's only a suggestion.

Wow!
Nice future very advanced Quad-Channel Memory PCI-Express-3.0 X68 or X79
are they using DDR3 ?
I'm also running Raid 0 but only with 2xOCZ AgilityII 60GB
and only 1 100GB partition left 20GB free for selfrepair actions, but RAMDISK is about 40 times faster

Cheers man for getting some great performance :)
I am just curious though I am getting not even close to the same performance and was wondering if you were having the same issue prior to the patch?
I am attaching my two photos of what My GPU's were doing in both tests and now I am starting to worry that its either my set up or my cards that are under powered.
Just wanted to get your opinion. Thanks very much and grats again on getting that kind of performance.
Both Tests were performed at 1920x1080 on a 40' HD TV. I still get that GPU1 clipping and only minor improvement in GPU2 performance.

Before the last (14550) patch the sim was unflyable on my rig at any graphic settings. The issue was not with frame rates it was the stuttering.
My guess, with your rig at 1920x1080 on medium settings you should be getting average of 40 - 50 FPS. One thing I've noticed even with 14550 patch that disabling mirror significantly improved the smoothness of rendering.
Cheers!

Thanks :) I was being dumb i forgot to update my ATI drivers. Once i updated to 11.5 I got almost the same performance that the OP for this thread did :) almost :) his cards are better then mine so I got just a bit more stutter with everything on but MAN was it fun to fly a complete mission :) With just a bit of tweaking im sure i can get it to run smooth as silk 50+ fps and with future improvements may even be able to run it with full graphics switches :) (fingers crossed) wooooooot :) if feels good to be back in the air again :)
here is my performance single Brit campaign mission with everything on full 1920x1080. :)

Yes, in fact I feel like I should be getting paid.
Here is something weird. At default medium settings my frame rates range 50-60. If I change anything like lowering amount of buildings from medium to low my average FPS drop below 25!
We are still in beta - my offshore developers in India do better testing LOL.

After monkeying with this thing for couple of hours it seems the best balance for me is having everything on highest settings with SSAO and VSYNC OFF, AA=8.
No mirrors. Having mirrors causing major performance and stutter issues with my setup.
I don't get it, but I can live with this.
London still has major issues with FPS and stuttering.

since latest patch (I had this Cloud thing on)
3x Launcher crash
Sound+ForceFeedback comes and goes
must repair my key and joystick setting
my Freetrack won't start anymore
but yes it run a little bit smoother (I think)
now I will to reinstall Win7 and all the other stuff

have you tried just running one card? i ask because you should be getting 60+ fps with your rig and the only thing i can see in your specs that would cause a bottle neck is the XFIRE and the hydra you are running.

I notice your field of view is not completely stuffed by default. Has something changed in a patch to automatically handle aspect ratios other than 4:3 or have you been playing with configs to alter it? I know there's a command to manually increase/decrease FoV but it's still based around a 4:3 AR and so the natural consequence is that you get Vert-, which is disorienting and gives me headaches. True widescreen support would be Hor+ only and yours doesn't look too far off that in the clip you posted, but it's hard to be sure based on a small YouTube video. :)
EDIT: Just gave it another crack. Clearly nothing was changed in a patch, it's still Vert- and horrible to look at. Yours still looks better than mine, so I'm curious if you've found a config setting somewhere that I haven't? Or maybe yours is still Vert- and you're being conservative on how far back you zoom it?

Something did change with 14550. By default zoom level is correct, before it was too close.
Not sure what the difference is between increasing the FOV and Hor+? There is no loss of vertical content and no fisheye effect that would result from Vert-.
Your headache is probably the result of stuttering.

I may have a cache issue, because I definitely still have Vert- and manually increasing the FoV gives a serious fisheye effect. I do not have particularly serious stuttering at the moment and it doesn't give me headaches regardless. It gets my blood pressure up but that's not the same. :P
EDIT: Yep, cache problem. They have indeed swapped out their hardcoded values for a proper algorithm. I wonder if they borrowed the one I posted a few weeks back? Doesn't matter either way, I'm just happy it's working. Performance is still pretty awful but it's a start!
Random side question, I see you have a HOTAS Warthog. Are you using a custom TARGET profile for it or just manually binding controls in game?

Any suggestions on setting up the game to work with 3 monitors? Its unplayable for me. I doesn't even work with it set to a single monitor resolution.
The display port monitor goes to sleep as soon as the game starts (naturally it the one where the button is hidden by the overlapping bezel of the center monitor). Then the game seems to get confused about which monitor is where and shifts everything right one monitor. The menus are cut in half by the 1st & 2nd monitor bezels.
Even trying to run in single monitor mode, these problems still occur (how the hell the menu problem still occurs is beyond me). Plus the game wants to run 3 copies of the display, instead of just running on the center monitor. This happens each time the display port monitor goes to sleep, which is everytime I try to fix something, thus the display keeps shifting over one.
Lots of cursing during the whole process.
ATI 5850 in Eyefinity driving 3x 22" monitors. I have a second 5850, but have it disabled at the moment (Crossfire is another complication that I am avoiding while trying to get basic functionality).

Hey Grintch,
Sorry, at least from the ATI perspective for me it was pretty painless experience.
Obvious questions, but are your ATI drivers up to date (11.5)? Do other games run using infinity?
Sounds like you are running extended displays.
Did you try to set a different preferred display under the AMD Eyefinity Multi-Display Settings?

Hello guys !!!
I have one 5870 running this game very well in high setting except for London. Now I am considering to buy another 5870 (Its cheaper now and crossfire support available) but I dont have experience with crossfire and technical requirements. I hope you can help me...
Lets go!!! I have a xfx 5870 and my first doubt is about power supply.
■500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and four 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)
My power supply is a Corsair 950w:
http://www.corsair.com/enthusiast-series-tx950-80-plus-bronze-certified-power-supply.html
So... I can handle 2x5870 because I only need 600w from my 950w power supply or I will need 2x600w because I am running two GPUS ????
I am reading now all manuals from ATI but some support from you guys would be great :)
TY !!!
