I endorse that decision. Until 1C consider it fit to fly for the US launch it ain't ready to be reviewed. Preview it!

Mm I have this magazine, said they got the game to close to the deadline to review it, so it is a preview, they did mention it having performance issues also. Full review next issue.

Why only a Preview? It's a 'Gold' Release and should surely be reviewed as-such?

I don't remember Medal of Honor or Call of Duty series getting Preview Reviews after they were released?

As-for the deadline comment, they could have done a Mini-Review and then a Full review next issue.

Shame it only comes out every Two-Months, as by June all the Beta Testers in Europe and Russia, should, after having paid full-price for it, be able to get it in a reviewable condition.

Seems like we need the X-Files team on this......"The Truth is out there"!

This title is on sale now at full price, if it's not ready for review it was not ready for release, most serious US simmers already have a copy purchased from other markets. 1C are damn lucky many publications are holding off on their reviews giving them time to sort it; but they won't do so for ever.

Not 1c and Ubi alone is lucky, every wwii-flight-sim-fan is lucky because of the delayed review.
As better the review as better the sales, as higher the possibility of a bug-free sim and a sequel!

Me, personally, im more interested in any new news about MS Flight since I already know CoD is just a buggy paid beta dropped on the un-suspecting public for some quick sales.

We all know it was a rushed release and it pisses us up and makes us cry. But what's better for the new IL-2 franchise:

1) Review with a poor score and über-bug-rant on the day of the release
2) Later review in June with more time to fix and a proper US release to get hopefully a more endorsable experience

Don't know about you, but I rather see a rags to riches story with IL-2 than call out the executioner to chop heads due to the issues experienced so far. There aren't too many ww2 flight sims out there so enough with that Lynchmob stuff!

MS Flight's fine if you don't want to interact with other aircraft, personally I need a bit more going on,on my screen,IMO.

You may want to review your statement again.

In fsx, if your machine can handle it, you can run full international flight scheduling online or off. At major airports, this means you always have an aircraft on the runway, several at different stages on the taxiway or apron and many more in the air on approach, requiring the pilot to follow proper taxiway, ifr/vfr, atc, and stack procedures just to get into the air and back down.

Online it goes even further, with folks able to operate as air traffic controllers for large groups of simmers flying real airline schedules from all over the world. While FSX is not as popular on line as it once was, it is still possible to fly online with many more people than the largest il2 server ever had. Many groups are still active, with many real pilots in their ranks, the largest of which is VATSIM with over 250,000 members worldwide, within which, you have many virtual airlines. There may not be as many dogfights as a military sim, (although this too is possible with the right add-ons) there are still more than enough aircraft to interact with should you wish to find them.

Me, I get bored rather quickly unless if flying something loaded with .50 cal's and a trigger. I doubt MS Flight will have an DM in it, but I still love flight sims in general. The screenshots posted so far look to be on par with IL2 CoD and its still in development.
