How can load a bomb on my Bf109E3B on the online servers?

It worked out once but when tried to repeat it it did not! It drive me crazy!

I select a base, double click in order to have the plane creation screen on the right, select a Bf109E3B, go down to the weapons, open the Bomb bay menu, selct a bomb and press create.

One time it worked. The next time it did not... :-(

Selecting it is easy, getting it to explode is another thing altogether! Have managed in FMB where i get the option to set detonators but have failed to get one to explode on full real mp server, though I carry and drop nonetheless, which is prolly a waste of time but you never know, might land on some RAF pilots head.

OK thanks to Sauf, I made it!

Both my Bf109E-3B as my ME110C-7 now carry bombs in the quick mission and in online servers! :-D

Small trick: Set as DEFAULT A N D SAVE A N D OK (never press BACK, it forgets everything) and you have to do this T W I C E !!! Once in he airplane loadout A N D in the BOMBS information (you have menues for airplane loadout, Guns(weapons belt) and Bombs)

So far the good news...

Now the bad....
Never forget to ARM THE BOMBS ! (just in case somebody forgot to read the manual)

Be prepared to see bombs jumping around like there were made of rubber! :-(
Absolute shame to see them having spend so mu work in making the flight path of a bomb look correctly, only to have the bomb bouncing upon hitting the ground irrespectively of hardness of the soil underneath and deflection degree :-( (I presume itis a bug somewhere).
Only dive bombing I saw my bombs sticking where they should.
ME110C-7 works well with the 2xSC500 bombs.

Bf109E-3B with the SC250 is absolute rubbish :-(
Only 20% of the bombs exploded and I can not understand when they do, when they don't !!!! Dive-bomb, Highalt-bomb, skip-bomb all tried, I can not get the logic...

At least I can take off with bombs under my fuselage :-)

Having done some further testing I found out that:

The SC250 as well as the 4 x SC50 on the Bf109-3B are not exploding 90% of the time!
There is only one way to make them explode every time:
- Start a steep climb with the Bf109
- With the nose pointing sharply upwards, release the bombs
- The released bombs will continue their upward trajectory for a while and then fall downwards.
That's it, every bomb explodes!

The ME110-C7 with 2xSC500 has no problems
(I have not yet tested a ME100 with SC250s...)

On the other side, to hell with it, the Bf109 was a fighter plane ;-)

Happy Flying!

I see they have improved the detonator loadout screen, they are now labeled, high dive and low. Haven't tested yet though.

All above were done with these three settings, does not help.

can't understand 1 thing.. are the E3/B bombs actually exploding ?

Yes they do.

They just need sufficient time to fly in order to arm the fuzes.
Skipbombing works as well, just the bombs have to skip long enough (to arm).
