View Full Version : 1.00.14101, always CTD when loading.

I sadly can't start any mission anymore. It seems to be loading for 5 seconds, it reaches 2,5% load progress, and then CTD.

I can't access the "Planes" menu easily either. It opens after a few seconds, and no aircraft appear.

I suspect it has something to do with Steam not updating the simulator correctly.

Help will be very appreciated.

Sounds like your ram is getting maxed out? Try opening up task manager while the mission is loading and watch to see if this is the case. If so, you got to reduce your settings and/or kill some background programs. (textures,...etc.)

Did you change any conf.ini settings? Some of the settings do not work.. when I changed 1 it did the 5% load and hang... changed it back and it worked fine.. Have you done any editing?

Checked. It uses 450Mb out of 4Gb.

I did, but even after reverting the changes, it still CTD.

I have done nothing to the sim except to put that SSO Mod, which changes I reverted as soon the error appeared.

I have tried to modify the settings of the sim again, but nothing has worked so far. :(

right click steam icon (task bar) choose Library , once window opens go to upper left corner right click "IL-2 sturmovik cliffs of Dover" choose properties go to "Local files" tab choose "verify integrity of game cache"

Done. It has found 4 damaged files, which Steam is now downloading. I hope it works, thank you! ;)
