tournament will be 2v2 (6 teams confirmed so far) deadline for sign up will be Sunday the 24th this will be a double elimination tournament played on strike so the team with the most deaths loses engagement area will be close to center of the map no spawn killing no bombers no tailguns all others ok I will set up a bracket for the matches teams can communicate with each other to set up their matches then send me the results let me know if I'm leaving something out but I think that's the just of it

i will make a more complete set of rules this weekend but basically 2v2 on strike so every death will be 1 point lost that way there will be no bailing issues try to keep the fighting near the center of the map so no spawn camping dont know yet how to limit head ons over and over no one likes that rules on planes will be fighters only no bombers no planes with tail guns all others ok although this will be held in strike mode NO attacting ground targets is allowed team with most tickets remaining at end of match wins thats the just of it if anyone has more to add or ideas let me know

It would be better to hold this in strike or CTA either would eliminate the bailing problem and in a 1 airfield CTA map you wouldn't spawn 10 mile from the action every time personally I think a CTA map

i was quite addicted to the sounds of a band queens of the stone age and they have one track in which the stoners pot palace was mentioned. then my friend captain rundlutsch and i commander spline baptized his room the stoners pot palace cause we did inhale a hell lot of somthing in that place, while listening to pretty good stoner rock and modelling crazy 3d objects in cinema 4d!

just to let you all know i have been looking at sites to make the tournament bracket i found one where i can enter team names and randomly generate a double elim bracket the way all these double elim brackets work some teams will have to wait to play the winner of a match to play thier first match if that makes sense anyway it will be a random seed to be fair this is looking like it will be a lot of fun

I'm a lttle confused by your bracket though.. Are the teams in the second part (eg Rogue Sqn, Alarm start, pot palace and viking saints) being given a bye thru to the second round or is that an error?

No it's not a bye I used mulitpal sites and on every site when I entered info for a double elim tournament that's exactly how it came out so I just assumed that's how the brackets work for double elim it kinda confused me too
