I was going to buy a 27" LED 2ms but I've heard a 120Hz version will be out soon. There is a 3D 23" 120Hz available now, does anyone have this type? How is COD on it? Does doubling the frequency have a noticable difference?
BTW, Did someone say 28" Viewsonic 1900 x 1200 ? i cannot find it, what model number is it?
Thanks

I can recommend the Dell UltraSharp U2711 27". It is an IPS panel, 2560x1440 resolution. The picture is jaw droppingly good and CoD looks incredible on it. I run at native resolution. I upgraded to this from the previous generation 30" Dell, although it is smaller the picture quality is like night and day.

I find I don't need AA for CoD, Fsx however I do for some reason. I don't really play any other games I am afraid (probably because I am getting old!). You will be very impressed with this monitor.

Looks like a great monitor.
Any 'ghosting' issues with fast-moving planes?
Also, what video card do you need to use on a resolution that size?

Yeah those dell ultrasharps ips panels are quite nice indeed. I own the ultrasharp 24" 1920x1200.
But a friend of mine has bought a 120hz monitor and he's quite happy with it. He is less tired from sitting hours on end behind his monitor than behind a regular 60hz monitor.
Also if you want to use 3D you NEED a 120hz monitor.
So... it basically comes down to, to what you want to do with it.
I have no problems sitting 8 hours on end behind my computer but some people will have a headache or loss of concentration after sitting behind a 60hz monitor after 2 hours.
The 120hz monitor is way more comfortable to look at for prolonged times so i hear.
