Kegetys has posted a set of "Tweaks" and settings to adjust the game performance.. The results are unbelievable at the moment..

My fps at 1920X1200 with everything on HIGH went from 60fps to 102fps

Also of special note.. When I put SHADOWS to HIGH it drops my fps from 102fps to 70fps..obviously big issues with SHADOWS and how they are being rendered.

Here is the thread... http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?p=258755&posted=1#post258755

luthier may consider adding a switch off button for SSAO

I know what t is, but his mail box is full and this makes a huge difference for a lot of people. Big enough that an option to disable it should be considered for a game nearing release and performance is it's primary Achilles heel at the moment

Kegetys??? the same man that made wonders for Operation Flashpoint, Arma, Arma 2 and for IL-2 series?

someone really needs to hire that man!

Yes, same guy. I don't know if I'd call this a "wonder" but he certainly knows his graphics and what is and isn't efficient

Switching on shadows slows my frame rate quite a bit as well - I hope they can optimize these.... they make the cockpit lighting look sooooo pretty!

Indeed the improvements in performance can be freely labeled as dramatical with no exaggeration whatsoever...
