I just upgraded my trusty old 4870 to a Sapphire 6950 2GB Ram.

CloD runs very smooth now (even before the patch) with most settings on high.

Wow. It's a HUGE improvement!

Interesting. What processor you got that paired up with? And how much RAM?

Shouldn't matter too much, read this.

If you're a gamer, do the card.

6GB Corsair

Seems that we both have almost the same PC rig, tough i didn't change my GC yet : i7 950, 12 Go RAM, 4870 > 2 Go OC, and i was interested in changing for a 6950 2 Go... Nice to hear there a noticeable difference ! Could you clarify what you said with FPSs ? (in same situations, with AI control in exact same mission and with same view for instance..)

Do you have an SSD ?

Good to hear - I'm planning on doing the same very soon. It seems that 1GB of VRAM is insufficient to run this on 'high', so it seems a logical choice seeing that I'm a fan of the red team (or is it now the green/red team?) :)

Just recently purchased a diamond 6970 2GB . I can say , yes this makes a BIG difference.. Also combined with the mods from the following thread.

You'l see at least 50-60 FPS non stop.. 30FPS over london.
