in the config ini find the following line:

UseLandCube=1

and change that value

UseLandCube=0

I think this should get rid of the square in the terrain some people are seeing. Also it *might* increase FPS though I'm not sure by how much. (esspecially over London)

I've tested it, and it does get rid of the black line, but the transition isn't smooth. You can see a curved border over sea, with a faint weird 'pulsating' effect, like water ripples going inwards.

No idea about any performance gains :)
