Still on XP sp3 here as well are others. I havent seen any official statements regarding the issues with CloD and XP. Are the issues being looked into or are the only things being fixed for win7 build??

Hi,

To my knowledge, the fixes will apply to all versions of the game, WinXP, Vista, Win7 32&64bit

I think the best fix would be to get an operating system newer than the original IL-2 :p

AND support for total memory beyond 4GB
(think of i as: 2,7Gb RAM + 1,3Gb on the GPU = 4GB you reached the limit!)

AND optimal usage of multi-cores CPUs

AND better stability running multiple applications

With Win7-64 is not a bad thing to look at...

This is not about the OS, its about the architecture x86 or x64.
I think Windows XP remains the best OS after Linux of course jeje

Cheers.

In the world maybe but in gaming no. Look at the steam stats or even the stats from the benchmarking thread on these forums. Something like 80% win 7
