I think the clouds look crap compared to BoPs. The sun and planes look nice though. I would need a demo before parting cash for this though. We could flip a coin and it could be the next BoP or it could be the next Heroes Over Europe

Yes, the clouds are not as nice, but in BOP for the 360, I LAG so bad when I go through cloud cover...its almost unflyable.

And Ac:SW is for PC, PS3 and 360

Sad day, but if you want SIM pass this by...

DESCIRPTION
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars is an arcade flight simulation set in a world war I+II scenario.
During the 7 campaigns the player has to fly and fight through over 48 missions. Before taking off, the player can choose between different aircrafts, each with different strengths and weaknesses.
Within the missions the player gets different objectives like patrolling, sneaking, hit & run, bombing and escorting. Objectives are presented as dialogues between different characters. After some missions the player can upgrade one of his skills in order to maneuver the airplanes easier, have more endurance or have your wingman boosted. Further, the player can choose between two control schemes. Arcade and simulation. The first one makes the game easier to control, while the second one gives more options to control the aircraft.
Beside the campaign the game also features several multiplayer modes, local and via internet for up to four players.

I think your 360 is faulty then. Ive never had any slowdown caused by clouds. The only times I get slowdown is when I fly though an explosion on a CTA airflield that has already many fires on it, and even then it lasts only a second.

This new game, I don't know. I like sim type more, like Over G fighters, but arcade flying games can be fun too. I liked Blazing angels (even with its crap control setup) and Ace combat 5 & 6 but hated hawx demo and laughed at the videos of heros over europe (and at Dennis). I think I'd need to read reviews about this one with lots of videos and preferably a demo before thinking about getting it.

Just got a new 360, also I should not say LAG, but rather the frame rate drops enough that I really, really notice it.

AIR CONFLICTS: SECRET WARS TO TAKE GAMERS TO THE THIRD DIMENSION IN JUNE

3D TV support for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 confirmed as well as PlayStation Move compatibility -
Eschborn/Hampshire, Mai 12, 2011: Exciting new features have today been announced for Air Conflicts: Secret Wars, the new combat action title confirmed for release in the UK on June 17th, 2011 on Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation® 3 and Windows PC. Xbox 360 and PlayStation® 3 gamers owning 3D television sets will find themselves closer to the aerial action than ever before thanks to Air Conflicts: Secret Wars providing full 3D TV support out of the box.

In addition, Air Conflicts: Secret Wars will also feature full PlayStation® Move motion control support in the PlayStation® 3 version, with players being able to control their aircraft by tilting the motion controller, as well as being able to activate the exhilarating tail gunner mode.

In Air Conflicts: Secret Wars players can relive the most famous aerial battles of World War I and II like never before. The game provides plenty of variety, as players can fly 16 meticulously detailed and accurate aircraft in nearly 50 exciting missions across the seven campaigns. The mission tasks are diverse and range from air space clearance operations to the bombardment of targets on the ground, attacks on enemy convoys and reconnaissance, escort and patrol flights.

After each successful mission players can upgrade their skills to enable them to control their aircraft more expertly, make their aircraft more robust and select better co-pilots. There are two control modes for the combat aircraft: the controls are simplified in arcade mode and simulation mode offers a realistic control system that is true to the original. Alongside the campaign, Air Conflicts: Secret Wars also features several multiplayer modes, local and via internet for up to four players.
