I've been playing CloD and A2A Accusim Spitfire, I've also read the pilots manual for Spitfire IIa and IIb. I've noted quite a few problems in CloD.
1. Incorrect (reversed) mixture lever operation.
2. Coffman starter makes no sound. This really bugs me. It's awesome when you start Spitfire in A2A, that huge bang!!! really adds some immersion.
3. Incorrect positioning and operation of radiator control lever. It should have only 6 positions (shut, guns warming, normal, 1/3 open, 2/3 open, full open), and there should be markings in the map case to show normal, shut and open position for the lever.
4. No working warning horn for too low throttle setting. It should beep when landing gear is up and throttle is 0% or very low.
5. No working fuel priming pump.
6. One fuel cock control missing.
7. No cockpit ventilation flap on starboard side.
8. There should be white steam coming out of the engine if radiator temperature is too high, becouse excess pressure will be released to prevent radiator damage. Currently it is modeled like this: working radiator -> too much temperature -> destroyed radiator.
So, there's some things I remember right now. Please excuse any spelling errors or wrong information, I'm not really an expert. But I think right now CloD is not accurate enough to be called simulator. And that's what I am looking for.
