Is it me or do these planes seem harder to hit?

It seems like every time my sights are on them(leading of course!) I fire over or below the wings and when I adjust it makes it worse. :(

I don't think its me because I can hit other planes just fine. :grin:

Side Note: I also find that these planes (Yak-3) rock in Sim mode or Realistic mode.

nope..people seem to shoot me out of the sky just as easily when i fly a yak. they maneuver very nicely but do lack the armor plating...which was why they were light and nimble.

I am not saying that I don't miss, but I have heard other people say that it is hard for them to hit the Yaks as well.

It seems that the Yak is smaller in size, making it easier to miss.

Spitfire

I was just wondering if other people had the same problems.

I did play several Realistic and Sim matches the other day, where I used the Yak-3 against two Spitfires and one 109, All three players are in a clan called CH, anyways they tried to team up on me, but I managed to win every round, they only managed to shoot me down once or twice.

YES :D Russian planes are Blessed! I've heard this rumor before, some players assure that the developers ( all of them from Russia ) have advantaged a bit those planes.

Personally i don't think so, maybe their little dimension make them harder to hit, but, anyway, it's always nice shooting down some luftwaffe from them! :)

agree with u,i don't think the devs have advantaged a bit this planes,for the yaks i had the chance to saw 2 of them in a air show,and it can turn "in the pocket of a trouser",i can sayguys,for sure!!i saw a p40 just after...the difference is big!!!
for the i153 the same: this plane can turn a loop in 13 seconds instead of 20 for the me109e!
la series have not weapons in the wings and i think it give them a big advantage in tight moves.
the il10 and il2 series was highest armored ,and just the radiator was not as armored as the others part of the plane.
