I received the DVD collectors edition of IL2 COD today I am a little confused. When I installed my game today there was an update via Steam. However I see no warning in the Splashscreen or an option to turn the Epilepsy filter off. So I take it that the update that took place was a seperate one to the BIG FIX update that you have been discussing on the forums. On your post it says that the update is to be released via Steam today, (30th). Could someone in the know please clarify?

The day has not finished yet, if it passes midnight, you can start complaining, is it so hard to have a little patience? They said it's coming, wait for it.

I installed my regular DVD retail edition yesterday and it also downloaded something but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the advertised patch. My theory is that CoD installs about 80% of the game from the DVD and the rest from steam as some kind of DRM, it's just a guess but not too far out there. Also waiting for the anti anti-epilepsy patch:)

There was a late patch for the béta as well.
I'm guessing that's the one we're taliking about here.
The patch announced by Luthier with the corrections + optional epi-filter will come later, maybe tonight or tomorrow.

That's equivalent to russian version for me, so that would confirm that the patch you had is not the one mentionned by Luthier (anti-epi etc..)

the update you have is the patch that was aplly to the game between the burning and the release... not the anti epileptic patch.

The longer they work on it,the more they will fixx hopefully. My bet is tomorrow for the patch,to coincide with the steam European launch.
