Well,as Oleg has gone?? :!: COD was supposed to be the start of a series of other theatres of war. Will this still happen and the support be there for the future?.
I know this is looking ahead but i guess at somepoint decisions will have to be made especially if it involves a more involved larger map and real world time and investment and a development team.
I hope COD can be fixed and made playable and i trust it will in time but this must dent future plans.

If it is successful and gets enough sales, then yes there will be expansions.

CFS 3 killed the MS franchise and we might be seeing history repeat.

All depends on sales.
Depends if people want to risk £30 for the future of the series or not,or just sit there and type 'I ain't buying this 'til its fixed!'
Well with that attitude, they might not have the money to fix it...
My D/L should be available Thursday.

First off Oleg hasn't left, he has just given Luthier a larger role in managing the development. Second as others have said....if sales warrant....there will be many more theaters added....the first rumoured theater is somewhere in the Meditteraenen.
When all the theaters are done we could see the rumoured combined forces sim where you could control tanks and ships aswell as aircraft.

Oleg has a new job.
Oleg hasnt visited this forum since the 22nd.
Luthier has been doing all the posts here and on the russian forum since the release.
Luthiers name is on the welcome message in the manual.

To quote Jason from 777 who went for dinner with Luthier last week, Oleg has not really been involved for the last year and a half, but its been kept quiet. So yeah your right Chivas

OMG!!! Oleg hasn't visited the forum in 5 days?????
It's over then! It's the end of time! It's definitely the end of the long prophesized, and even yet to be heralded, SOW-multitheater Flight Sim series of the second decade of the 21st century!
I weep...yes, indeed, I weep for all mankind...

I would worry more about yourself than mankind. Did you get so caught up in the dates you missed the other FACTS that were posted?

He said she said......take a look at the Dev diary video again. Oleg is the Head of the design team and Luthier is the lead development producer. Oleg may have delegated more authority to Luthier or Luthier may have bought a share in the company, but Oleg is still involved, and has even taken COD home in the last few months to see if he could tweak the terrain color palette.
