I found it at SimHq

Q. Will the Lysander, He-59 and Cierva Autogyro be in a patch or in an add-on?
A. At the current stage of development, we can’t say anything definite about future patches, other than that all future updates are highly dependent on the success of the initial release.

Big dissapointment with many feature missing.
It's more than obvious that the release was rushed and that OM is no longer the boss since long time.
My opinion is that game was stuck and OM had to call IS to make it and IS asked for nothing less than everything.
OM just kept the "leadership" while real boss is IS, who, it seems had no problem in releasing a half developed game and then try to complete it.
Different philosophy than OM's, but at least this philosophy brought that game (not what we dreamt of) alive.
So many things missing or still in development...
In any case, we have what we have, we should support it and let's hope that in the end it can become close to what we've dreamt of, back in 2005 when first discussions about SoW started.

Nice intel, did you make that story up yourself or do you happen to work there?

Has always been the case.
Absolutely, but now the s*it has really hit the fan with the epilepsy thing, sales will be hit hard if they can't fix it before western release.
Its looking more like the early release of RoF every day.Hopefully they can survive long enough to sort things out.Right now,I am seriously worried.

zauii, you don't have to work there to use your mind.
Let's see some facts:
1) SoW was announced back in 2005
2) OM was often saying that release was as close as to 1 year in all these years
3) Suddenly IS came back to Moscow from California and that's when we started listening to real development news.
4) Game is released unfinished.
Now add these:
1) IS (and anyone) would not move from one side of the world to the other for a simple salary
2) OM likes perfection and release version of CoD is far from an even finished game (not to mention perfect)
3) OM already hinted that he's out of the "game"
You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes, not even Gregory House, to get to similar conclusions as mine :)

But RoF survived it's early teething. I adopted it 2 months post release. It still had and has it's issues, but it's alive and kicking due to development support and fan allegiance.
I think the same thing will happen with BoB. I see no reason why it won't survive like RoF unless money is that tight.....or UBI muffs it up once again.
I actually look as the RoF comparison as a good thing. It'll be 2 years this June (N.A. release).
Fingers crossed of course.

Seeing all this mess, anyone thinks still that this is not the correct scenario?

People are so negative. Reading that interview all I get out of it is a sense of tremendous potential for this sim. It will be a heartbreaking tragedy if lack of community support cuts it off at the knees.
The best thing we can do now is just get out there and buy the game! 50 bucks is a small price to pay for even a chance at what this could be.

There is a huge potential, no doubt about it. And I will be the first to buy it once it becomes playable.
Aside that, 50$ isn't equal to 50€ they are charging for it here in Europe. ;)

+1.
Pointless speculation.
Oleg is undoubtedly in charge. At least as far a this game is concerned.
