Hey guys,

I'm testing the waters here on the forum to see if I can get about 8 - 10 people to join me and a few of my buddies in recreating the aerial engagements that took place in the Battle of Britain. I have done some extensive research and created 15 different historically accurate scenarios spanning the opening engagement to the final phase of the BoB.

I recently tried doing this with some of my PSN friends, but due to disappointing participation, I've turned to the forums looking for more reliable and dedicated players. Game dates will vary depending on everyones schedule, but will typically start at 10pm EST. If you are interested and can devote at least 2 hours of play to each gathering, please post a comment here.

Thanks!

What's the obsession with night-time? I'm GMT from 10am to 8pm at weekends and 4pm to 8pm weekdays. Would love to do this: Any chance of a time change?

Hey Legendary Spitfire,

Thanks for your interest! No obsession with nighttime, but due to the responsibilities of parenthood and other day-to-day duties, 10pm EST is the only time I can reliably get on with any kind of consistency. So unfortunately, a earlier time change isn't possible I'm afraid, sorry!

I'm in the same situation sadly. Living on the east side of the pond means I lose out on the historical missions being hosted from the good ol USA. Another issue I have and this is my own problem is I simply cannot play sim games due to the fact I am TOTALLY RUBBISH at it.
I suffer badly from nausia when playing in the first person view and get very sick after only a few minutes. I have no problems with 3rd person views in arcade mode but unless I have a sick bag at hand sadly sim games are taboo for me. Do any of you guys have this issue or am I some kinda freak. If any of you did have this problem, how did you get around it ? Oh yeah back to my point. Can we have some Arcade historical missions. I'm really going mad missing out on the fun.

Sounds like motion sickness to me- it looks like you're moving when you aren't. I get a bit dizzy when playing flight sims on a projector screen. Try playing in a well lit room, not sitting right in front of the screen, or car sickness pills if you're desperate. I used to get car sick. This sounds like basically the same thing, so trying the same methods couldn't hurt.

Thanks Stapler I'll give your tips a go. I normally do not suffer from motion sickness as I have racked up a huge amount of shall we say "aggressive" flying in small single engine aircraft over the years. It's just on 1st person vid games !!! I'm gonna try the pills for sure to see how they work on me. Thanks again Stapler. I'm glad someone understands what I'm trying to explain

No worries mate, and there's nothing like "aggressive" flying! Feeling unwell is down to seeing motion, but not feeling anything. Eg if you do a loop in real life you feel all sorts of interesting g's, but in the game you don't, so your brain thinks something's wrong, and you get sick.

Hey StiC,

We're currently about halfway through the scenarios, but we'll be glad to have you as we still have 8 more missions to run through. We're currently on roughly a week, week and a half long hiatus, but I'll send you a friend request and get you into the message loop. You can also send me a request if you like as my PSN ID is the same as my handle here. I'm currently in the process of doing research on the Russian invasion, so if you have fun with the BoB scenarios, stick around as there should be plenty more historicals on the horizon.
