360 Players

Everytime I search for games on 360 it says "The IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey server is not available at this time. Please try again later."

Is no one playing or what the deuce is going on? It's been like this for weeks, and I have yet to play it online.

Been like that forever. The online interface is an absolute disgrace, mate.

Just came back to Il-2 myself, after some months away, and can't find any games either. I don't remember if the server list auto-refreshes if you leave it open, though - can anyone enlighten us?

Best advice is register in the new pilots section and the 360 guys will add you.

Only sessions that have not started will show up in your search. You need to add your gamer tag, Time zone and preferred difficulty level, Xbox players will add you to their friends list. When you log on you will then see which of your friends are on -line and playing - it's the only way you will get regular games.

I will send you a friends request fartskull, I play mostly SIM and occaisional Realsitic but you will have access to my Friends list which is soley for IL2 Birds of Prey and includes players across all difficulty levels.

I'm in the UK, btw. Online at various times: afternoon, evening, late night sometimes into the small hours.

Really don't mind which mode - if I can get a game, that's good enough - but I suppose I have a slight preference for Sim, even though I usually end up dead without ever seeing the guy who got me, but that's the authentic n00b pilot experience I guess... :-)

lol, I have the same issue in SIM, I can normally only get them when we hit straight on, if its a turning duel...:cry:I *gulp* lose, lol.
