How to search for online games???

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask a quick question to get some clarification on searching for online games for the 360.
Does everyone just search using the quick match method or do you use the custom game search, (so it brings up a list of all the available games, which is usually empty)??
If you use the custom game search, will it automatically refresh so you can see a game once its about to start?
Or does everyone just constantly search and then get back out then start another search then get back out?
Its so f*&king frustrating :mad:

You need to put people on your friends list so you can see who is playing. Idealy you need to become friends with every person you see on this game.

I can't remember the last time I used the search. I look to see who is playing then I either start my own game and invite them when their game has finished or wait for their game to finish and then join them when they are in the next game lobby.
