i was thinking about buying a joystick instead of using the conventional controller on the ps3 for bop. now i see there is a new hand held ps3 controller available similar to wee controller. does anyone know if this new ps3 controller will work like a joystick ? would a joystick still be the best option ?

proberbly not as it needs acompanying software within each game.

Hi there,
I guess it depends who you ask, persononally I'm very happy with the PS3 controller, but I'd strongly recommend you do a custom layout. The reason for this is that the premade layouts do not allow you the same fine control as custom does. Perhaps it doesn't matter in the beginning when you play with reduced sensitivity, but will become more important the more you get into the game.
We've put up quite a bit of information on the topic on the P-51 Mustang Purist Club thread. If you're interested, read on there, you'll also find instructions.
Good luck!

that's great information. thank you very much.
i will read the threads regarding the ps3 controller set ups and try some fine tuning on the controller before committing myself to a stick.
