I guess i could say it was a pretty realistic battle! i was in the last battle of all the campaigns in my rusky fighter. a me 262 started chewing up my tail as i was on a bombing run but i got him to overshoot me. he blew past and broke left...i rolled into his 6 and flamed him as another one started to hammering me from behind. I hit hard rudder and split "S"ed down. but when i pulled out i noticed 2 things...the indicator of airframe damage on the screen and my joy stick was loose as a goose. wobbley.... Rat B@$T@r) shot out my rudder! I finished up the mission...minus rudder control and tore the stick apart. i must of really cranked that baby cos i broke the dog that actuates the rudder control clean off! anyone else had this problem with the AV8R-02?? I can fix it but now i am grounded @#$%!!!! hate that!

Yeah that sucks. The AV8R is pretty delicate we have heard of lots of broken AV8R-02. Probably has to be made very cheaply otherwise it would cost a lot more to buy. To sell the stick seitek have to pay to get it licened by Microsoft, and they probably get some of the profit as well. So a PC joystick of the same price range will always be better quality than a 360 one.

hmmm is there a PC stick that works on xbox?? that would be the way to fly ( pardon the pun). with a little fabrication of parts and JB weld i will have it stronger than new out of the box...it just will take time..and will have to wait until the weekend.
