Medals in Campaign Mode?...and brakes on controller?

Hello im new here and to the game in which i thinks a great flyer of a game.

Just a few questions i pose, which i searched for with no success.

1- In campaign mode i got a silver medal for completing the primary missions only. However when i also got to eventually land the plane, i didnt get any other medal and it stayed silver (thought maybe turn to gold if 2nd objectives were met) Does this change or show anywhere u have completed 2nd missions?

2- I read to apply brakes on xbox controller u pull down on throttle? is this correct as im having trouble stopping the plane on the runway.

3-Will there/has there been a patch for xbox? they need to fix the slowdown when zoomed in on target!

the medals depend on dificulty bronze for arcade silver for realistic and gold for sim

I was unaware of slow down when zoomed, maybe its the just down to the magnification exaggerating artefacts of the graphics engine?

There is a known issue with a lack of landing brakes for flightsticks. You're not the only one with this problem :-x

Thanks guys for the posts.
I didnt think abt that for the medals doh lol!!!! wish it showed also having completed 2nd mission vo.

The framerate is only slightly slower when zooming in.

I was talking about the xbox controller game pad, not sticks. I dont think in the manual there is anything saying abt brakes, but i heard ppl suggesting pulling down on RS throttle, acts as brake.

Ah yeah - if you're using a gamepad, just keeping holding down on the throttle and you will stop. There isn't a separate button for wheelbrakes.

And I agree - it sucks to not see which missions you've done the secondary objectives for.


EDIT: doh - just noticed it was in the thread title. Pfff idiot.

and watch out for spits, they tend to flip over when you land a get to about 60
