for the i phone thats briliant btw i assume its more arcade than sim after seeing a flaming plane fly harmlessly however some people are saying u get 1 mission for free and then pay for the rest and the rest of the planes and the multiplayer and some add on packs (thats how money is made)

Yeah I cant work that out. In the review it says you get 11 missions and multiplayer for free but the comments a guy says he only got 1 mission free. Looks like its got European and Pacific missions and planes. I am going to get it later on (once upgraded to 3.0 firmware) so I will post some thoughts on it.

Wow. I cant belive all the flight games that are coming out for the platform. Between this, HAWX, Ace Combat Xi, FAST, and all the X-Plane games I am indeed getting my fill. Maybe we'll see a portable IL-2 also? hint hint...

If any of you guys are willing to pay 10$, X-Plane Carrier is fun. You can fight with both WWII aircraft and Vietnam era fighters and finish all missions by landing on a carrier.

I downloaded this game and it does have only 1 single player mission. It handles nicely and looks really nice. Control can be tricky with the accelerometer being hard to get to grips with. I always prefer hardware buttons for handheld gaming.
There are two buttons for firing, one for cannon and the other for mg. Not sure why they did that as if they had just had one button it would leave other hand free to use rudder and camera tracking. Apart from that it's a nice little game. I may spend some cash later to unlock the single player campain

Yeah its a really cool game. The only thing is that even though its free, they try to nickel and dime the hell out of you. Extra planes range from .99 to 2.99 and you even have to buy the multiplayer modes. Even though, Ill prolly wind up buying it all cause im a sucker for stuff that has wings and a propeller.
So far its easier to find a game online than BoP >.<
