Before I got mine I asked a lot of people, almost all of them from the Killzone2 community. Many suggested nokia as a good one. I got a bh-101 and works really fine. It is actually quite cheap, but never had any problem unless the in-game chat itself had some issues (i.e. battlefield1943 last summer).
Battery lasts really long too.
On the cons it is not the most comfortable once you put it on, but as overall quality I'd say it's quite good.
Unless you want one with headphones (?) which u can use for both chat and game fx

I use these Sony ones:

It was doing the rounds in sales a few months back and I picked one up for £50 with the player. Player is good too and if you shop around should be able to pick it up cheaper. I have tested lots of bluetooth headphones and these far and away the best

Go for the official sony one, believe me its the best you can buy. 8 hours talk time, comfortable and clear. Ive tried the jabra's, gioteks, and a logitech one but the sony one wins hands down....which ever you go for make sure its not the giotek, too much static on these i had to return mine it was that bad ! Trust me go with sony :).

yeah I second that, if you are after just chat then the Sony one is best bet. I got mine cheap from Argos with Socom, worked out cheaper with the game than getting the headset seperately. One thing I do like is the charging station that comes with it. I always forget to charge headsets but that charge station makes it v easy to charge

It may just be me, but I think when in private chat/play on 360 you cannot hear anybody else. And I don't know what you meant about the music.

This, I have a pair and they're amazing. Maybe the ps2 heaset. It's wired so it never dies, and it is good quality.
