Now that the patch is well and truly out on ps3 anychance on any official or inside words on the status to the 360 patch? Mainly has it been submitted to MS yet? We all know it's out of your hands after that.

The PS3 now has the edge for Sims as a console. Not because of the game improvements but the fact that the PS3 supports better joysticks and, from what I understand, they can be calibrated. Even with a Patch, the Xbox will not have an improved Joystick interface or calibration.. Hopefully the release of the PS3 patch will result in a response from MS otherwise their console is about to become 2nd class irrespective of any patches from the devs.

They already know that they made the decions to do it that way and i'm sure they had their reasons (however silly they may be) but i'm personally not gunna switch to ps3 for better flight stick support. As long as i can brake on the ground with my AV8R (in a 'stang) i#ll be happy. I can forgive a 5% deadzone

+1. A bit expensive to just switch consoles. As for the braking, this is one of the main things the patch will feature. The devs said from the start that they'd incorporate it, so I can't imagine they'll suddenly change their minds.

flashpoint ? epic fail...
most disappointing game in my whole gamer career. i brought it back after 3 three days.
in 11h ive completed the game on hardcore mode.
mp ? 2maps for 2 modes. and its still doesn't work.
open world ? lol
military sim ? LOL
ai ? LOL,LOL
sry, but after that promo from codemasters... EPIC-FAIL

I will one day - there's no majorly hard ones in there... but I have too many games to play to bother with that.

Well played though - hardcore requires a crazy mix of patience and knowing when to move.

Oh yeah. Despite not having everything expected from the start, it's still a great game. It's missing good game types though, so I hope with the upcoming modes they're releasing that it will kickstart it again. Hoping to get that competitive co-op mode they mentioned a long time ago. SP and co-op are top notch IMO. Going to have to get it on pc eventually to get more missions.
