Dunno mate. There are a few topics on this forum where the dev's have answered questions... just luck for any posts by Anton Yudintsev (might have spelled his last name wrong)

I don't know if the 360 supports a keyboard... is the customization of controller mapping (all systems) refer to the game pad or keyboards only?

Since I prefer not to use a keyboard on the PS3.

I'm pretty sure it applies to the controller, as that was the issue many players reported. And the control mapping was mentioned long before keyboard support. They probably did the code for the control mapping then thought "you know what, its about 10 minutes work to support keyboards now with this system..."

Keyboard support is only for PS3. MS won't permit peripherals that aren't specifically designed for the system to function, because it allows them to make people buy the same thing twice.

Thats not the reason with the keyboard. You can use a usb keyboard on a 360 to write messages.

Anyway keyboard support isn't important. Its Microsofts rule that game developers can't give use a option to adjust the sensitvity of the sticks dead zone, that is just Dumb. We are still using a Licenced device that Microsoft have received $$$$$ for.

If that's the case why does anyone buy the chatpad thing? Besides, if it works to write messages but not in-game then surely that's even more evidence of MS going out of their way to remove functionality.

The chat pad is for people who want to be able to write quickly without having to put down their gamepad everytime. And writing is what a keyboard is designed for afterall.
