Well, today I was flying the La-7 with limited fuel/ammo, and I thought I was pretty pretty close to running out of ammo, so I look down and zoom in on my dials, but they're all in Russian! XD So, could someone point out exactly what's what for me? thx. :P

A lot of the Xbox360 SIM sessions are now on Unlimited Fuel/Ammo and I have been looking at the cockpits to see if their are Ammo counters. Has anyone spotted them?

If there are ammo counters would be useful to know their locations for the various cockpits available but checking the above link suggests no counter!

only ww2 fighters that I have noticed that have ammo counters on il2 1946 are the bf 109 and fw 190

** What I would recommend you to do is to choose a desired plane and test it in training, press the trigger and record the seconds until you run out of ammo, then you will know about how much ammo you have left. I normally fire short 1 second bursts, so if Im using the Yak-3 and I know that I have 30 seconds of ammo, then I can keep track of this by counting the bursts (I actually do this lol, and have all planes tested :) ) it works quite well.

Here ya go:

литры: Fuel
скорость: airspeed
высота: altitude
обороты: rpm
подъём/спуск: (rate of) ascent/descent

I looked, there's no ammo gauge on the la-7, unless it's hiding someplace hard to see. In fact, the Luftwaffe captured one and examined it, they considered its cockpit to be primitive and hard to use.

Thank you very much. :) But no ammo counter kinda sucks. :( That's why I love the Bf-109 in 1946.

The ads for Audi and Volkswagen don't say "German engineering" for nothing. They liked fancy gadgets in their vehicles.

Volkswagen was started by Hitler, it means "people's car." A socialist car for the ordinary people. It still is, mainly.

PMSL. I don't have anything against VWs, but that sentence made me laugh.

This is why the early VW's had air-cooled engines. Because of the German winter and most average Germans not having a garage.
