The request is just if anyone would mind aiding me in attaining the Trophy requiring the player to invite two people to a game and then win? Edal86 was nice enough to be my friend but aside from him I have none :(

Anyway the main point, (though I suspect I may be alone here), is that I finally unlocked all the aircraft so I've been just playing for fun now, and was wondering does anyone else feel the multiplayer game modes on offer seem somewhat...underwhelming? And certaining not what they could offer the player?

It's probably wrong to draw a comparison with other titles, but I used to play fighter ace on the PC and the most popular multiplayer game mode called "Territorial conquest." I'd be happy to explain how it worked and why it was so rather good in more detail, but I don't want the opening post of this thing to just recieve a smattering of "TL;DR" 's

you can send me a friend request if you want. PSN ID is Rhah, and i'll be on at some point this evening (GMT) and probably tomorrow.

While I agree that the multiplayer has some flaws, i've also had some epic matches. It really does depend on who you play with. If you go into an arcade match, full of crashers and I-16's, then it gets annoying very quickly. However, a good Sim match can be awesome fun, with the right people.

You can add me-AcesDice, I'm always looking for realistic/sim matches.I guess BOP was their trial,I think they wanted to gauge a response before going all out.We should have modes in the sequel, if that happens.

Thanks for replying,

I am a sim player, finished all the single player missions except for "Inspect Airfields" in sim, and hope to play a lot more of it now I've unlocked all aircraft, have actually managed to end up 7th on the arcade team deathmatch leaderboard somehow (as of last night anyway).

Have had some epic matches too with some good players, but it just reminded me the other day how having one room with all players flying strategic bombing missions, air superiority, interception, air superiority, tank-busting, train hunting, supporting the tank columns when they spawn, all in one big theatre of operations was actually very well balanced and worked really well.
