I have this issue with all on line games, not just BOP, and it irritates the hell out of me. I have posted threads on this frustration a couple times. Not sure if there is anything we could do about it though, because there are allot of young punk kids, that can not deal with defeat, so if they can't be gaurenteed a win, they cry and bail on ya. But, that is the demographic on any gaming though I am afraid.

You could try posting it in one of the suggestion topics, or bring it to the dev's forum (http://forum.yuplay.com/index.php?showforum=7). And I think people would appreciate A LITTLE LESS CAPS. For the rest, not useful complaining to forum members, since most of us are respected/ing pilots, not quitters.

Just wait a bit until the leaderboards update. They don't do it instantly I believe. Use the search option and you'll find some other threads about this, maybe with answers.

The only game I've played where it keeps the game running with the scores intact after the host quits is Halo. They're pretty big on the whole online thing though, and have a lot more experience with putting it all together.

who gives a praline triangle about stats? why is it such a deal? play the game, have some fun with friends, by all means play to win and be competitive... but who gives a flying toffee coin about a leader board? I've never got this concept on any game... Im an average gamer.. I don't suck, but im no 20:1 K/D Ratio either. Who of you honestly gives a walnut whip where I am on the board, and to the same matter why is it such a caramel keg where you are compared to others?
These Quality Street puns doing anything for you?

How am I supposed to have any sense of self-importance if others cant see my name at the top of the leader board. I mean what am I to do? go un-noticed? How will we all know that I pown all that dare stand before me?
Sorry, Just razzin;). Ive seen this behavior on every other flight sim I've flown. It seems to be the new norm with adolescents this century. I think they need to go outside and play competitive games with the neighborhood kids more . Thats how we used to find our... 'place in the pack'. Anyone remember that? Damn, I'm getting old.
I recall many guys at the top of the leaderboard in other sims that would avoid combat completely unless they had a perfect 'blind' bounce. They'd fly out of reach for hours for that kill to keep thier 'streak' and points high. But they missed all the fun we were having below, because we didnt need our stats to define us. Hey, to each his own...

3 Ways:
1) There is the "Quote Button" underneath the post itself.
2) You may copy the text and press the Quote button that looks like a Speech Bubble above.
3) Copy the text and manually write [ QUOTE] and at the end of it [ /QUOTE]
and voila you end up with this:

To make this look even better, you can write down the name of the poster and the 'post number'. You can see this number when writing a message and holding your mouse over the post. It'll provide a link (the blue arrow thingy) to the original post.
