Is it possible to get or use necro call as a palladin. I wanted to use an undead stack of skeleton archers but they are immune to mind spells so there is no way to "heal" or "resurrect" them while in combat that I know of. I haven't found a necro call scroll...are they out there or is that just a necromancer special power?

Thanks

Ben

Elwin is right, a paladin can use the spell "necro call" however it won't help you to heal/resurrect your own troops. The spell only works on already killed stacks and finishes at the end of the battle.

The Paladins however do have a unique ability that allows troops from 1 stack to be replaced at the end of a battle. It scales so that at level 3, it will replace 100% of the losses from any one stack after the battle finishes. So. providing you didn't lose any other troops, then you wouldn't ever lose any of your archers! :-)

To "heal" undead units You can use zlogn spell only whatever kind of hero You play. By the way if you have got 3rd level of resurrection ability is any reason to use archers? Take stack of vampires or stack of black knights and destroy your enemies easily!

thanks for the advive. I've only got to level 2 of the end of battle ressurect. I'll fill that out to level three and that should fix it. The reason I want archers is cause with high initiative, dragon arrows and the scope, I can kill ANY enemy with one hit...multiple archers means half the battle is done even before the enemy has taken a turn!

I take it you already have the new game? Can you tell us then what the new Spell is that has an icon depicting skulls enveloped in a green mist?

Did You mean this spell? It is "poison skull" from chaos magic, it takes 5, 7 or 10 mana at diferent levels and makes poison damage both at the moment of spelling and in the few next turns. The one-time damage depends on intellect and has big variation for example 315-1100 at level 1, 565-1985 at second and 820-2865 at level 3. The contionuos harm is 70, 100 and 100 % and I understand this values not very clear but You have to know that it takes off the part of summary health of all stack so one last pirate (for example) can stay alive but 100 pirates will lose 5-10 as perishing.

i think the new spell that looks like "poison skull" afects undead and summoned creatures only. For summoned creatures it does 2x damage and if i remember right, it's a "chaos" spell.

At my PC "KB The Legend" is not installed now, I played it only once and don't remember all spells. So there are two discriptions more. May be the question was about one of them.

1140 EXORCISM from magic of light. Makes damage to demons and undead (200 400 and 600 at different levels), and doubled damage to phantoms and summoned creatures. It costs 10, 20 and 30 of mana.

1141 PESTIS from magic of chaos. Reduces base level of atack, defence and health (-15%, -20% and -25%. It costs 5, 15 and 20 of mana). Demons, plants and golems are resistable. Undead under pestis have increased moral and none of negative effects.

Thanks, yeah it was Exorcism that I was curious about! Usefull spell, really usefull since there are a lot of units that summon other units. Though not many heroes use Phantom.

I'm also hoping they fixed Necro call and you can use it to resurrect your own undead units as well.

It is new though that Plague increase Undead morale. I did not notice that in the original game...

Actually I have another question...I don't have the new game just accidentally posted this question on this forum as I access it through the website and didn't realize it changed. So...with that said...in The Legend I find that I can only get 30-40% of dead troops back after combat has ended as a Palladin, not 100%. Am I missing something? That was at level 3 of necromancy under the magic skills tree. Do you have to have an intellect of 30 or something to get insane bonuses on that...I thought that was only for spells, not skills?
