There has to be a pilot. Think of it this way, if you see yourself in the cockpit, would it be safe to assume that others could see themselves, say, in MP? The other pilots have to be rendered because you are, and the pilot would be attached to the plane's rendering. It wouldn't be it's own object.

But then again... I don't make games, so I could be completely off.

it's a very cool video i think it could be right that the pilot is dead because but it doesnt happen alot that the pilot of the other plane shoots the pilot but it could be i will be trying it tomorrow on the ps3
