Thats what happens when you start shooting at a plane that has already had its pilot killed by someone else and the dead player is waiting for the respawn counter to go down. Especialy If the spawn is 15 seconds. Thats 15 seconds for you to see a perfectly undamaged b17 with gunners firing, shoot at it only to see it magicly disapear when the player respawns. Its anoying I know, its happened to me numerous times, but its not a bug.

I suppose, it would be better to set the respawn time to 15 seconds.

I play 3 or 4 nights and now find that the 'dogfights' bore me these days but Team Battles, CTA, etc, I still enjoy....

I hardly play BoP much anymore. It gets old quickly for me.

Suppose i should take a break, work on other games, and return to IL2 at a later date?

That would be the healthy choice.

obviously this game will be gone someday ,with that being said i would get tired of the same meal, the same weather, the same game everyday but if you give it a break once in a while you appreciate it more.

Someday, yes it will be gone. But not for half a decade. Look at Battlefield 1942 for example, a old game and yet still you find a many game servers full of players. Of course BoP isn't as well known, but I know I should still be playing in a few years from now.
