Hi Luthier,
On the contrary. As a long time IL2 simmer - since the first day of the first release - I really appreciate all that is being done. I believe that I understand the business model you have and financial and other considerations.

I and others continue to fly on the ATAG server on a regular basis and are always amazed at the positive points we come across. The ones not working quite as hoped are circumvented in the knowledge that in time those things will be improved.

I really love flying the Sturmovik and look forward to the upcoming series as they fall into place. For now, Cliffs of Dover is a pleasure to fly.

Best of the Season and New Year to you and your Team!!
Catseye

Hmmm...so let the works start:

And since we are almost exclusively grown-ups (despite the things we write and the way we behave very often in this forum) here are some handy and practical New Year's Wishes:

May you get a clean bill of health from your dentist, your cardiologist, your gastro-enterologist, your urologist, your proctologist, your podiatrist, your psychiatrist, your plumber and the I.R.S.

May your hair, your teeth, your face-lift, your abs and your stocks not fall; and may your blood pressure, your triglycerides, your cholesterol, your white blood count and your mortgage interest not rise.

May New Year's Eve find you seated around the table, together with your beloved family and cherished friends. May you find the food better, the environment quieter, the cost much cheaper, and the pleasure more fulfilling than anything else you might ordinarily do that night.

May you remember to say "I love you" at least once a day to your spouse, your child, your parent, your siblings; but not to your secretary, your nurse, your masseuse, your hairdresser or your tennis instructor.

And may we live in a world at peace and with the awareness of God's love in every sunset, every flower's unfolding petals, every baby's smile, every lover's kiss, and every wonderful, astonishing, miraculous beat of our heart.

What could be more welcome than the eastern front, and what there more welcome than the Il-2. I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

1. We are continuing to work on ALL previously announced features: graphics, FM, AI, radio comms, launcher errors, etc. This has always been a constant, never changed, not expected to change.

To be honest I love all sorts of content additions. Patching bugs and issues is important, yes, but new content is ALWAYS welcome. In the long run it will make sure that IL-2 remains a versatile and interesting sim. I don't care if it's trains, trees, bikes, cars, planes! or bushes - I'm happy with any addition to the sim really.

That said I return the wishes for a happy new year to the team. Enjoy the season and return in good spirit in the next year.

Great Job B6 and 1C: Maddox Games.

Happy new year to you all and really great news. Cant wait to fly the IL2.

I will buy the 1/32 IL-2m3 from Hobby Boss. A IL2 is a must for me.
