rolling back, is a possibilty (its not the full fix, but indeed it is a positive approach)... quite a few people do that all the time (at least on other forums I read) with VGA drivers.

Are the CTD users running mods? (if so, another possibility)

I think you'll find that your wrong on this one. (If any Moderators want to correct me here please do! )

The only regular contact we have with the developers is Black Six, and it hasn't been the fanboi's giving him heaps since day one. Go figure!

CODFA membership #0001 here baby! I play nightly (mostly online) on COD and don't get the CTD. Most immersive combat flight sim I've bought to date.

are you telling me that I shouldn't enjoy the game because you can't get it working right? Doesn't work like that. Sorry, I'll put praise where praise is deserved any day!

Man! All this over a video game? Obviously you never bought windows millenium or vista!!!!!

Ciao Bambini!

I run vanilla, no mods what so ever and I still experience CTD's. One thing I have noticed is people with hi-end pc's seem to experience it more often, maybe due to the fact people with high end pc's like to crank up the graphics more..

But I feel I shouldn't have to compromise and empty my cache every time I play a game. I do remember a time where this game was acceptable to play. I think it was right after they fixed the stealth plane sound issue. After that it was acceptable to play without crashing.. Then they made a few more updates and that is when the CTD's started happening...

So as a temp fix why cant they roll back ?

Hey gang,
Kind of new here to the forum and to CloD.
May I ask, what or who is Black Six?

Thanks,

Hi d.burnette. For his sins, BlackSix is the community liaison and when not busy fielding questions and rants from the community he is, I believe, a campaign designer for 1C:Maddox Games.

S!

Not sure if reported, but if running a track and bringing up the console with shift+tab the FPS goes up a bit and after closing drops back to what it was. A bug or a feature?

Here's a bug i'm experiencing:

G.50... So basically, if i pan around with the keypad or my logitech G510's G keys, my pitch/mix get set to 50%. I've double checked for any key conflicts. And it only happens in this particular airplane. It's incredibly annoying. My joysticks' hat switch works though, but it's too hard to yank and bank mid-dogfight and use the hat switch to look around for enemy aircraft. Anyone know why this happens, or if it's fixable?

Update: I fixed this bug by redoing my entire control scheme (deleted config files etc)
