+1 Besides that, the SU-26 was being advertised as something that would ship with the game, so having it rolled into a patch for COD would be a good move for 1C.

It looks to me that this has been a difficult and probably extremely expensive process to fix this problematic game.
When it's all said and done, I think we'll be lucky for them to still be in business, let alone be healthy enough financially to hand out a bunch of rebates. |

There`s nothing wrong with expecting that 1C will give its customers some freebies. I expect it. It happened many times in IL2 Sturmovik history, should happen with CloD. Didn`t we get the Bf109E4 already? I don`t think it`s a secret that many of the buyers got CloD expecting more or less the same policy from 1C. Although it should be well known that it can`t satisfy everyone. The free addons were almost exclusively threatre of operations oriented, so we couldn`t get a P63 for a looooooong time, but there are many variants of the same aircraft. For example the Yak-1 which filled a gaping hole in the winter campaing of 1942 I think.
That is why we need to finally get the game working 100% features and stable. Then the community can take over as they did the last time. |

I don't need a reward for the finished game. As frustrated as we can be as fanatics, I bet the developers and publishers are even more frustrated. I have no reason to believe they've not been working on the game as hard as they say they are. If they finally hit their stride and are making headway quickly, I think we'll have a cracking game. That's enough for me. |

No they don't. But the reason they're available for your purchase is they make you think that. We entrepreneurs have to make a living off someone.

So that makes it ok that COD doesn't work, but they led us to believe it did when it was 1st sold? |

honestly if they added any flyable planes even one that was already modeled as unflyable would be more than enough "reward"...
honestly the best thing after all of the stuff is cleaned up and other needed features added, would be to flesh out the flyable plane set, with planes that wont be seen in any up coming expansion.... hell i would even pay for this "reward" imagine a plane pack with any number of flyable and unflyable planes.... |

I guess I have the magical copy of the game that loaded? I must of had the magical copy of the game that made a dedicated server? Perhaps I had the magical copy of the game that made the FMB work to build missions? Gosh I must be the lucky one! But in all seriousness. Name one piece of software that was ever released without a single bug. Good luck with that. |

I haven't contributed much in the way of bug fixing etc so i don't expect any reward, but a new plane with each patch would be nice, just like Il2.
If they produce a quality product with BOM, then I'm willing to pay a quality price. If other simmers, with more input & support, want to be rewarded with a cheaper game, i have no problems with that. On a related topic, would more money go the Russian developers if BOM was sold online only (ie not stream). I also have no problem with this either. .
