How many hours do you have in a real Tiger moth?

Cause i know Bongo has quite a few.

Yes but his point was that a real one doesn't, this is supposed to be a simulator yes/no.

I suspect the reason he is being technically accurate has to do with the fact that he is a pilot and they tend to keep their terminology specific, so that they know what is going on in times of emergency. I think he has even flown real Tiger Moths so he's got more first hand knowledge than anyone of us around here
Yes I have 270 hours on real Tiger Moths, horizons move in 2 relative axis pitch and roll, the pitch angle indicator would be more of an inclinometer and to be honest about as usefull as chocolate underpants which is probably why the instruments aren't used any more.

Von Bruhl.......you might consider not shooting your own mouth off taking things into consideration, you had no reason to be so rude with your response, I do expect an apology.

p.s. the clue is in my sig....thats me sat in a tiger moth

  1. Redbox at launch
  2. Weathering inop
  3. I noticed a "frame shift" every two seconds. That's the only way I can describe it. Flying level over towns or trees and the view outside would noticeable shift like it was advancing forward 2-3 frames.

Turning the ingame AntiAliasing off stopped the problem.
  4. Ingame control stick movements seems a little choppy
  5. Performance increase is not really noticeable

Up until now I have not experienced this error, but on my first online flight with the beta patch I got the "Launcher stopped working" crash

I reverted back to the previous version via Steam, emptied cache and then re-installed the patch.

Didn't have launcher.exe in single player but first one apperaed after 15min on ATAG server. Before I could expect to complete at least one sortie (30min-1h+) before it happened. On this point I see no improvement, it has even gotten worse.

On the fps side, I went from an average ~30 online on ATAG to about ~45-50, so a good improvement, and also the game feels much smoother, I don't feel that kind of micro-stutters like before.

I don't understand how the team nearly doesn't see any launcher.exe while it seems it has gotten worse for a lot of us....that quite worrying...

Edit: launcher.exe happening also in single player quick mission, didn't happen with last version...
