But all of this is off-topic and stated milloin times. It´s still true though...

Blacksix explained that posting the sequel material was his idea - an attempt to fill the void until more patch info became available. He recognises now that it was a mistake. Personally, I accept that his intentions were well meaning and can understand that he'd like to keep a low profile now until the patch is out.

I have no problems at all with the devs working on the sequel in parallel. It has been stated many times that it shares the same engine as CloD and anything they do to improve the engine will filter down to the product we already own. Good things will come, just need a little more patience.

How can you prove it? I haven't seen a release for ages

Soo, you mean the sit back, watching the forum for 24h and laugh about the funny topics and postings, from some kids?! The flyt sim market is a serious business to stay alive, they dont make it for fun, the know they screwed up the first product, and I am sure they dont wanna screw the sequel or the future patches, otherwise the are gone......I wonder more about the moderators, not kicking and banning more people who cry and complain about the same stuff over and over again its like in the kindergarten, "I wanna this toy, no you dont get it, no I wanna it meeehh".....

So please, stop such nonsense!

Tree's banned?

Well, he's knowingly been sailing close to the wind for years.

Which is ironic, seeing as he's been pretty much right on the button with his views of the Clod debacle.

lol. I think the cryout for toys is reasonable if the kindergarden had promised those toys on its marketing ADs.

I was wondering why I saw TreeUK was banned? Can someone point me to a particular thread that got out of hand etc. Please... This is a genuine enquiry. I am trying to find what he said that finally did it.

I always thought of tree as the advocate for the common man who paid $80 for this game and showed faith despite the disapoinments. His honest, direct and forthright style of communication seemed to be the only way to outline the true problems to the dev's and communicate the ill-will that the botched release of this sim created.

Believe me.. I want to enjoy this sim like I did il-2 '46. It's just hard when less than 300 ppl in the entire world play it online with any regularity.

I hope Tree is unbanned and that freedom of speech (no matter how hard the truth is to swallow) is allowed to continue on the 1C forums.

Thanks sincerely for your time.
Hi Stacko

I didn't know Tree was banned, I'm actually surprised that he has been banned recently as he has certainly turned down his posts from outright insults to the devs to much more vailed critizim.

Hi

Just to clarify.

All previously banned members were allowed back into the forum under the new infraction system.

Unfortunately after so many reported posts and incurred infractions, some of the past offenders couldn't help themselves,
and so become banned under the points collection system for receiving infractions.

They had a second chance.
