I think you're mistaken there, Luthier. A lot of us are reassured by a complete-looking screenshot of a Sturmovik.

Makes me feel like work is progressing.

Honestly, I think if you just put out some screenshots every friday, a lot of the **** that goes on on these forums would die down quickly. All we want are some tidbits of information to show us that work is ongoing. But sometimes getting information out of Maddox Games is like pulling teeth.

Happy new year!
Personally, I am waiting for BoM and eastern front. That's what got me into series back in 2001. Hopefully Finland is included at some point

I’d just like to clarify a couple of things, just in case:

1. We are continuing to work on ALL previously announced features: graphics, FM, AI, radio comms, launcher errors, etc. This has always been a constant, never changed, not expected to change.

2. We assume that the most common reaction to the screenshots will be “why the heck do we need that, why didn’t you work on XYZ instead”. We almost decided to skip the screenshots altogether, but then decided that we’ll get the same reaction if we post nothing as well. I find it a shame that you guys need to talk like this because of the melodrama of a minority. Happy New Year to you and your team, have a nice break (or whatever you do in Russia) and I look forward to what is to come - it's great to hear that you have management support for the series, you certainly have my support and patience on the pretence that the team will produce the best, most accurate and immersive CFS in the World.

+1 - depressing that they have to be scared to post news here...

Amazing that we have four pages of posts and not a whining post yet! Lets see how many pages we can stay positive? Think about a 40 page thread with only positive posts! Come on it's Christmas time, wonders can happen

Happy new year to the team and everyone else here!

EDIT: And I really have a soft spot for those single seater IL2's... Can't wait...
