Yes, usually the online servers as REPKA use this script, which renders a plane abandoned by a player useless by damaging certain parts... fuel pumps, engines, elevators... therefore the moment you leave your plane by ALT-F2, the plane gets damaged by script and crashes or will be destroyed by the script after a timeout defined by the server. So you should only use ATL-F2 after the end of your sortie on the ground.
