PS: Last time I flew in formation it was on Battlefield 1942, And My mate and I got shot down by a single bandit who sneaked behind us. From that time, I'm a lonely wolf

Like ancient seraph said.It will be impossible to spot people. Maybe it could be done after the update, when there is no longer an 'plane invisible range'.

In PC IL-2 the games were also without icons on the map. But there youhad to take of and land. And both teams had airstrips on opposite sides. So you knew they would be either above your airstrip,taking of from theirs, or in between.

In BOP the maps are hudge, and there is no real reason for anyone to be like 'I wanna fly on this part of the map'. Try finding your 4 enemies in a 50x50km map.not doable
