Excellent - like it.
Will there be a 'Part 2' with low-flying 109s? ![]()

When I saw this screenshot it set off a pleasant memory in me.Waaaay back in 1960 or so my library of aviation books consisted of two:William Green's Famous fighters of World War Two & the Harleyford Publication Aircraft Camouflage & Markings 1907-1954 by Bruce Robertson( to be honest there weren't a whole lot of other choices back then. Both featured 3 view ;in Famous fighters there were absolutely beautiful air brush renderings by Gert Huemann & in Aircraft Camouflage there were color ( colour) views by William Hepworth( M.S.I.A.)These color renderings tirned out to be way off the mark, but back then who knew? To give you an idea of the priority of things ,the British section for WW2 was 50 pages long & pretty complete for its day, while the German section was 4 1/2 pages long and as you can imagine comically incomplete ( after all they had lost the bl__dy war hadn't they? )No one then could possibly imagine how popular the Luftwaffe would later become!
To get back to the point- this screenshot: it took me almost immediately back to the first page of the British section of Camouflage & Markings, which I had read & reread back then because of a huge interest in the Battle of Britain. The images below need no further explanation as to why it did so: ![]() ![]() ( Say ...in viewing the Hudson - weren't we going to get all the aircraft around during the Battle of Britain????Oh well...) They look unusually well ordered, whatever they are. The space between some of them would make a perfect emergency landing strip.
