I hope that this hasn't been posted already...I think that this clip makes the game look fairly stunning....

The second clip is shot over London...which seems to be a topic of much debate, so people can judge for themselves.

I think the London shots look fantastic...but their seems (lol) to be a frame rate drop...

I'm blown away by the scope (and ambition) of this project...modeling the city of London to 1:1 scale is mind blowing. Obviously they need to work out a few issues (like the frame rate), but overall...I'm impressed.

To Oleg & Team...keep pluggin away, I think you will have a winner here ("winning")....

I've got an excellent in cockpit DB 605 recording. There must be a Merlin one around.
I don't roll like that. I don't "have" anyone. But you're still a bit comparing a raisin to a melon though, take your 8cyl 410cid engine(which should be around 7.0litre right?) and put it next to a 27litre Merlin V12 or a 37litre DB605. Now compare the heads, pistons and last but not least, the exhaust ports. How do you think a 7litre V8 stacks up to a 37litre V12 if you put them side by side judging by sound only?

If you want a fair comparison(not realistic but fair nonetheless), take the headers off that Dodge, take off the hood and have another go. Mounting even a 3ft open header to an engine drastically decreases the noise it makes. When you have like 6ft(?) of piping and mufflers as well, comparing it to a WW2 fighter is not really fair to the aircraft. The DB605 does indeed have the stacks low but they are still open stacks. As in 100% open exhaust straight from the heads.

Here's a Merlin in a car with collector headers and 10ft, roughly, bolted to it. Watch both:

Now that I think of it, that car sounds like the in cockpit Hurricane CoD vids I've seen. Did they have exhaust systems as an option in WW2? Anyway, I'll stick to topic of this thread from now on. I think I've made my point clear enough.

Anyway, thursday!

Exclamation Some other planes

I also dont know if it was postet somwhere before (tm) :

More planes where the external sounds are much better than the (placeholder) Hurri sounds from some other vids, this looks promising , hopefully there will be some sort of campaign review somewhere soon....

..awful music.. which reminds me of EAW
