I guess it's an O not a 0 (for Ost = East)

LMAO

There's no shame in that..... I have to admit that the first time I climbed into the 109 it confused me too.

Then it struck me.... German plane, German compass.

Haven't fired that up for some time either but I think you may be right. lol

It was quite funny because I read the "O" as a zero, thought zero must be North and then started turning, staring at the compass waiting to see 90 degrees assuming that would be east.

It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the fact that I have a hard enough time getting the planes in the air! I really do suggest that, if anyone sees me on ATAG of an evening, they should circle the german fighter airfields and keep an eye out. Some of my attempts at take off are comedy gold. (If I can even find the airstrip and don't just collide into some other poor sap's plane. lol)

Take a look on this website
http://www.cockpitinstrumente.de/ins...e/kompasse.htm
and you will see.
Das die Deutschen ein O für Ost verwendet haben.

Hmm, not tested it ever, how is it with clod, is there bad smoothing in overall picture too? Just like FXAA?

It is really crisp, unlike the FXAA injectors (With the added bonus of none of that "Hmmm...are you sure I won't lose all my steam games and get a ban using this?" tension. lol). I was really impressed by it! A few people, including me, have noticed some performance boost when using it also (I went from an average of 23 on Black Death to 37 with Morphological on!) so I would definitely recommend having a look at it. Of course there are no guarantees but you may be seriously and pleasantly surprised.

Same here, lol

As far as take offs and landings for that matter, make a mini mission with the first way-point as take off. A good way to practice!...ATAG I think has a bit of wind on the field, and can cause some turning difficulties.
