Forget dead pilot animation, has anyone actually been able to see an enemy pilot?

By the time i have fiddled the right stick and got close enough, i usually either over-shoot or collide with the enemy!

I haven't seen one yet either, having the same trouble as you. Although what i could do is fly by at safe speed, and then slow it down on iMovie, to see if there is a pilot in the seat.

There has to be a pilot. Think of it this way, if you see yourself in the cockpit, would it be safe to assume that others could see themselves, say, in MP? The other pilots have to be rendered because you are, and the pilot would be attached to the plane's rendering. It wouldn't be it's own object.

But then again... I don't make games, so I could be completely off.
