My report,

After brief flight testing in multiplayer.

1) FPS increase, especially on the ground (20-30 FPS), but stutters still occuring. (my res is 2560x1600).
2) 109 prop pitch change is much faster
3) The new multiplayer GUI is much easier to use, thanks!!!
4) the multiplayer sound bug, where sound starts to stutter and disappear is still a problem. Not fixed
5) 109 roll rate looks to have been increased.

Thats all for now. Cheers.

Will be testing today, thanks.

However, +1 on the need for a change log so that we know what to look for. If you guys could give us something like that later during the day or tomorrow, it would greatly help in testing this until it goes live on steam.

Didn't test it yet as i'm just now downloading, but maybe they corrected the trim?

Up till the last patch i could see the 109s elevators functioning like regular trim tabbed surfaces in external view: add trim and the elevators deflect.

In reality, what happened was that the elevators remained level with the stabilizer but the whole assembly (including the horizontal stab) would tilt. In other words, you get your trim and you still have the elevator's full range of motion to work with, which increases the amount of available control authority.

If they corrected it to reflect the historically correct method of operation then we could pull off some really nifty tricks by using trim and stick together, or at the very least be able to exit high speed dives with more ease.

Thats exactly the way the trim funktion of 109 is working now.

Thank you very much for the update. This sim is now a step closer to be the best ever. As I'm an offline flyer, I've noticed the following:

1. Selecting skins in the loadout screen at pre-flight in a quick mission now finally works! (Please let me know if changing the weapon loadout also works)

2. It seems it now works when giving instructions to the AI (please note that you have to select the recipient first)

Keep the good work! And Ilya, could you please post the full changelog?

None of the 'add'/'remove'/'save'/'save as' etc buttons in the ammo loadouts work for me at all anymore (they did prior to the patch).

Well I discovered that you have to enter in Options / Plane and modify the loadouts there. Also, you have to select THERE the ones you want to use in the missions. That's quite a strange behavior, however it seems to be finally working. I'd like to be able to select the loadout on the preflight screen though.

Yep you're right, changing it in Options/Plane seems to work fine. Not sure why they changed it tbh (or even if it was intentional), but not being able to swap out ammo on the preflight screen is damn irritating!

Also +1 for patch notes, without them we're testing blind.
