I have, on PS3. Just once though. And I though I was like the only person to ever play Rainbow 6 Vegas/

I was just about to post and say that I think the PS3 version is audio fault free, when I read this comment! I put a couple of hours in last night and didn't get it, any idea what triggered it, or is it just a randon glitch?

I read "Apache Dawn" and didn't rate it as much, I've seen "Dressed to Kill" advertised but not got round to picking it up yet. Is it any good?

I'm now a cockpit view player as well. I had been using the nose camera, but I switched to the cockpit view last night and found it way easier to fly the aircraft smoothly. Don't know if anyone else finds the same, but being able to see part of the aircraft makes it easier to orientate.

I also found the "move cannon in zoom" (or whatever its called!) function last night, very nifty! Once you get a bit more familiar with the controls you can quite easily fly in one direction, whilst you are shooting in another.

Tonights job is to properly play around with the satellite mode!

NB: For those asking, the airspeed figure is on the left on the HUD, a bit below the torque figure!

I've not got Dressed to Kill yet, its one of the many books waiting in my Amazon wishlist to be bought for me for Christmas (after some really heavy hinting to people asking what I want). I read Apache Dawn first and did prefer Ed macys book but 'dawn' was more technical I though. Also if you read '3 Para' you get boots on the ground accounts of some of the same fights which is pretty cool.

Ha! I know the feeling! Too many books and not enough time (or money!) for all of them! Yeah, Dawn covered some technical details, but I found the book very repetitive in places.

I didn't think "3 Para" was that great to be honest. I read it almost immediately after reading "Sniper One" though, and that was such a good book I think it may have influenced my opinion on 3P - I'll have to give it a re-read some time.

Off topic slightly, but I've been meaning to pick up "Snake Driver" for ages now. I read a short article by the author in a book years ago and would really like to check out his full account - once again though, time and money...

there is a pretty good reason for that...it doesnt come out until the 19th. after it comes out you ought drop by 1C and get Anton to sign a copy for you. that would be a collectors item!
